Finish

A touch of liquorice and a slight nutty note in the finish.

Nose

Generous notes of honey, dried and fresh fruit such as raisins, almonds walnuts, vineyard peach and apricot. Aromas of candied fruit: Fig.

Palate

Notes of dried fruit: Raisins, almonds and walnuts. A rare and particularly fruity sensorial experience.

Finish

Ampleness and balance combine with force and elegance, with a lovely lingering finish.

The Martell Single Estate Collection captures the quintessence of Cognac’s terroir, highlighting the expertise of the men and women who tend the vines, make the wines, and distil and age the eaux-de-vie. It offers a selection of outstanding cognacs, each produced in limited quantities not only from a single cru, but by a single domain.

A sunny, dry, late summer and autumn provided A. Couillaud vineyard good conditions for the berries to ripen with, consequently, a healthy, high-quality grape harvest. The fruit was picked entirely by hand.

Nose

Very distinctive with leafy, fruit notes of blackcurrant, candied orange peel, light beeswax and walnuts.

Palate

Powerful and well-structured, with prominent notes of blackcurrant leaf lending a slight bitterness.

Finish

A remarkably long finish.

The C. Mongillon vineyard's vines lie at the bottom of the Genté hillside on marly limestone soil, producing grapes and, in turn, eaux-de-vie of exemplary balance and finesse.

Nose

Notes of old walnuts, figs and almonds, as well as more roasted-coffee aromas.

Palate

Rounded, structured balance characteristic of Grande Champagne cognac with intense flavours of dried fruit, walnuts and almonds.

Finish

A subtle hint of blackcurrant appears at the end, beautifully sustained.

The Charbonnière vineyards lie on fertile land that was once marshes. Their deep, heavy clay soils are cool and damp, producing eaux-de-vie whose rare aromatic complexity is underpinned by subtle fruit notes from the presence of limestone.

Nose

With a finesse typical of the Borderies, the nose opens on a complex fusion of plum, peach and candied lemon, with delicate hints of vanilla and clove. On swirling the glass, gingerbread and honey aromas emerge.

Palate

The attack is rounded with notes of peach, fleshing out into gingerbread.

Finish

Unleashing a long finish punctuated by notes of candied citrus fruit.

A cognac with subtle aromas. The Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels is a perfect harmony of luscious fruit and refined wood overtones.

‘Red’ is a reference to the reddish colour of aged barrels. These casks, crafted from fine-grained oak, have already been used to age eaux-de-vie and have reached the perfect stage of maturity before being selected for this cognac. Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels perfectly highlights Martell’s unique ageing style.


Nose

Intense fresh fruity aromas like cherry plum and greengage fruit. Gently coated by subtle mellowed woody notes.

Palate

Full, broad and intense fruity tones of plums, honeymoon peaches and apricots.

Finish

Delicate notes of sweet spices from the wood round out this deliciously complex cognac.

For three centuries, the House of Martell has consistently pioneered new expressions of cognac, but none as refreshing as Martell NCF. Whereas most cognacs are filtered below 0°C, Martell NCF – the House’s first-ever non-chill filtered cognac – is filtered at room temperature with the specific aim of preserving its full potential to unleash irresistibly smooth, expressive aromas when served with ice.

Nose

Characterized by its exceptionally fresh, lively style, with sensual hints of apricot jam and vanilla which, after swirling, are enriched with notes of mandarin and pink grapefruit

Palate

Chilled by the ice, it feel sumptuously smooth and velvety, revealing notes of citrus peel, candied fruit and vanilla.

Finish

A rounded, smooth and very balanced finish boasting warm cinnamon spices.

Nose

Aromas of ground spices distinctively black pepper, coriander, pink peppercorns. A complex fruity bouquet of chutney, almonds, walnuts and fig compote.

Palate

The fig and walnut notes are round and fruity on the palate, followed by the signature richness of the Martell house - beeswax and sandalwood mingle in smooth, sweet notes.

Finish

A lingering silky finish boasting characteristic strength and finesse of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie.
